In the last year plus, we were told to disinfect EVERYTHING and many of us still disinfect much more than we did before. Let's start by saying that I LOVE CLEAN! I love, an organized and clean space. I am constantly organizing and wiping around the house and always finding a new drawer or corner that needs to be redone. Quats (quaternary ammonium compounds) are very harsh disinfectant chemicals commonly found in disinfectant wipes (such as lysol), sprays and other household cleaners that are designed to kill germs. Known to cause allergy symptoms and asthma.
Bleach, a staple in many homes, is very irritating and corrosive to the skin, lungs, and eyes. Additionally, it has been known to burn human tissue internally or externally.
